Cleo

Cleo 17 years old. She came to us because her family was having to move and couldn’t take her with them. They truly love her and were heartbroken that she could come along.

She has reflux (throws up frequently) and while her family did everything they could, working with veterinarians to resolve the issue, unfortunately nothing worked. That happens with some cats. The condition does not interfere with her quality of life, she is happy and healthy and very active.

Her family searched and SEARCHED for some one, some place that would take her in…a difficult task with a cat that throws up a lot!! They finally found us and we were happy to welcome her to the Whisper Ranch family where she will live out whatever time she has left.

Cleo now lives in the barn loft…BUT the loft has a storage room with old furniture in it! Miss Cleo has a nice comfy couch to “rough it” in. She has her food, water and litterbox in the room. She can come and go from the room to the loft/hay area as she pleases…and she does! She is the Queen of the barn now and she decides who (if any) of the other 8 cats are allowed to come into her new domain.
